when the light goes out

and the cables of joy strain

when the clouds sprint up

and the sea waves become turbulent

when destiny is angry at you

and fate picks you an enemy

when luck perceives  you as a threat

and sorrow the only friend around

when smile becomes a scarcity

and tears a known substance

when grief becomes a companion

and heartbreak a pal

when the lights go out on life

and darkness rules supreme

when the claws of death linger near

and despair roar in wait

HIS arms are stretched, waiting.

HIS love is calling out to you

walk into it, run into it

there is light there, Everlasting light.
